Easter is always such a fun time, with so many happy memories from childhood. Yesterday we dyed some Easter eggs, which I haven't done since elementary school. I forgot how fun that is and how amazingly colorful the eggs turn out after they've been dyed.
The Easter treats project I have for you today was made with adults in mind, so I tried to design something a little more modern and elegant. I made these treats for my co-workers and for family members.
I stamped PTI Butterfly Dreams stamps onto butterfly diecuts using Aqua Mist ink. The Easter sentiment is from PTI Mixed Messages and is just the right size to stamp in the center of the butterfly. A lot of the small messages from that set fit perfectly within the butterfly images, so it could work for other occasions too.
I stamped and diecut using PTI Fillable Frames #1 and filled the frame with Tin Types, which seems similar to a springtime basket weave, especially on kraft cardstock.
Here are all of the treats lined up together. The PTI small glassine bags are embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders to give them dimension. I filled the bags with Reese's chocolate easter eggs. Yum! :)
