Mini Thank You notes

Thanks so much for all the well wishes over the past few days. We're very excited! I'm due mid-September and yes, we are going to find out if it's a boy or girl. :)

Today I thought I'd share with you a few mini thank you notes I made recently. I sold a few items in my Etsy shop so wanted to include thank you notes with the orders. I was super excited when I found out that I'd sold a couple of bookmarks. It's kind of a fun to sell something that you handmade yourself! :) But it made me realize that I needed to make some more thank you notes to have on hand.

My shop (like my blog) has sunshine in the title so I wanted to make something bright, happy and sunny. I decided to use the PTI Daily Designs set--the images are so versatile and I love the designs. I held off on ordering this set for the longest time and am so glad I finally ordered it! I used the PTI Lunchbox note die which is the perfect die to make mini thank you cards.

I stamped the tag in Versamagic Mango Madness and the sentiment in a dark blue Ocean Depth.

I also stamped a little hidden sentiment under the flap that the recipient won't see until they open it.

It's kind of fun to add little extra details and "surprises" especially when it's a simple card.

On the inside, I added the tree stamp from Daily Designs to accent the little message I'll personalize for each card.

Thank You Bookmarks

Thanks so much for all the kind thoughts and prayers for my grandma. She seems to be doing better each day and we are hoping that she might even be doing well enough by next week to leave the hospital to spend Thanksgiving at the house. She's looking forward to seeing a lot of family next week and I think that is helping to lift her spirits.

Today I have some thank you bookmarks to share with you.

I made a whole bunch of these bookmarks to slip into a few books as a thank you. These also make a great thank you if you want to send something other than a card to someone.

I didn't want to stamp the thank you on there permanently, so I stamped it onto a trimmed Post-It note. That way the recipient can remove the thank you and then use the bookmark. It's a way to say thank you if you aren't able to make a card to go along with it.

I stamped the book image from PTI School Time and the Thank You from American Crafts stamp set.

I made some Fall bookmarks using Terracotta Tile and Harvest Gold.

Here's a closeup of the stamped image and the PTI Book Print Impression Plate embossing. I think that Book Print IP is one of my favorites! It really adds a lot to the bookmark.

And I made some more neutral, natural looking ones too and added twine to add to the rustic, woodsy feel. These would be great to give to a guy as a thank you.

Just a Note: More Small Thank You Notes

In yesterday's post, I said I would be posting more small thank you cards with a different twist. Today's cards also use the Mat Stack 4 stamp and die but these have a more retro musical look.

By stamping the frame in a shimmery gold/black it gives a more retro, almost record player-like look. The circles in the mat stack kind of look like visual rhythms in a song or music notes. I prefer the mat stack stamped in lighter colors but do like the contrast it provided for this card. I used just a spot of red, with the intention of entering this into Susan's One Layer Wednesday challenge here. I masked out the circle and stamped the lines from the PTI "Take Note" stamp set.

I curved the inside sentiment and added a musical note, leaving just enough room to add a short message.

My family has quite a few musicians in it...my aunt was a professional violinist, my grandma plays the piano and used to teach and my uncle plays drums...so it is nice to have a few music "notes" on hand! :)

Small Thank You Notes for Fall

Hi everyone, hope you're having a nice weekend! Just wanted to post a few fall thank you notes I made recently. I made these for some PTI forum members who I split a stamp set with. :)

I stamped the mat with a Halloween treats set. It can be fun to think outside the box and find new ways to use your holiday supplies. I was inspired by Melissa's post to make a diecut card. These type of cards are the perfect size to slip into a package you're sending out to someone to let them know they are appreciated. Since it is one layer, it is also super flat and easy to mail. I made a few extras too in different colors (not pictured) to have on hand just in case.

I stamped the fall leaves with Brilliance inks, which have a beautiful glittery sheen to them. I prefer the mat stack stamped in lighter shades. It's such a bold frame, that a lighter color softens it a bit I think!

Tomorrow I'm posting a completely different take on Thank You notes using this same die. And I've got a few more posts coming within the next few days.

When I think of Nichole's stamping style, I think clean and soft with a touch of glitter. Spring Moss and Aqua Mist were the first colors released by Papertrey Ink, so I used those colors for this card.

I stamped Thank You from Big & Bold Wishes (PTI) in versamark, clear embossed it and then sponged on Aqua Mist & Spring Moss ink. I then outlined Stickles glitter over the clear letters and attached the panel with pop dots.

Thanks again, Nichole! You really do bring joy to so many lives with what you do. Thank YOU!

Thanks for Everything!

I've got another card for you today that I made for my office. This time I made a Thank You card. Birthday cards and Thank You cards are the most frequently used cards in our office, so I'm really trying to add more of those to the collection.

Here is the card, Thanks for Everything.

I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then diecut the middle with PTI's Fillable Frames No.1. I stamped the sentiment from the YOF: Violets set with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with white EP. I finished the card with Enchanted Evening twill ribbon.
