I saw some cool-looking kraft envelopes by Maya Road that I thought would be great to use as gift card holders. Instead of buying them, I thought it might be fun to recreate them.
Here is what I came up with. I made a whole bunch in several PTI colors.
I kept them super CAS because I want them to be flat enough to mail on the inside of a card and simple enough that they don't distract from the card itself. Just drop them into the card, and it's good to go!
The measurements are 7" long x 3" wide, then score at 3" length and fold. I punched the edge with several different Fiskars border punches (apron lace, threading water and scallops) to mix it up. I taped around the inside edges with 1/8" scor-tape and then finished the gift card holder by rounding off the edges.
Super simple and quick to make, but it looks so much more finished then just dropping the gift card inside. So the next time I mail a card with a gift card, I'll be set now!
Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you a sunshine-filled day!
